Our "Mix of the Week" this week is by M A N I K. This is an absolute cracker of a set with a pure House sound and some brilliant mixing.
Recorded live mixes in a busy venue have a certain ambience to them as one can just about hear some pretty hilarious conversations in the background. It's this rawness which we love about this mix! The track selection by M A N I K is also spot on - alternating between various genres almost song by song (a skill mastered by very few DJs such as Jody Wisternoff) - and paying homage to proper House music.
There's an absolutely insane drop at about 21:25 that just destroys the dance floor. Women scream and men howl like werewolves running naked through a moonlit field of poppies whilst high on opium. Madness. Enjoy the deep fried goodness.
